The IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver Course is designed to help you build confidence, sharpen your awareness, and make every journey calmer, safer, and more enjoyable. Delivered locally by Central Southern Advanced Motorists, the course focuses on real-world driving, practical coaching, and steady progress at a pace that suits you.
What the course involves
You’ll be paired one-to-one with a qualified volunteer IAM Observer who will guide you through a series of observed drives. Sessions take place in your own car, on everyday roads, so what you learn is practical and immediately relevant.
Between sessions, you’ll have time to practise and reflect, helping new skills become natural and lasting habits.
